Crazy for Tigers

Maryann continues as the Crazy4Challenges hostess for July.  Here is her challenge for this week.....

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another Crazy challenge.  Maryann Einam our challenge hostess for the month is back with one last challenge.

Before we get into this week's challenge we would like to thank our Guest Designer for the month Kristine Reynolds for playing along with us again this month.

Now let's get onto this week's challenge .....

According to the days of the year Calendar today is International Tiger Day. Create a card using the colours Orange, Black and White for your theme.

As you can see, I went with the colors.  I first sponged my sky with various distress inks in the honey and orange colors.  I then used my Misti to stamp my Stamp Camp forest image several times to get the black as deep as possible.  I then layered the main image and added the sentiment.
Be sure to check out the tigers and tiger colors on the DT creations at the Crazies Blog.

CCEEers Walk on Stilts

Maryann continues as our hostess ths month for the CCEE Stampers Challenge.  Here is her challenge......

Create a tall thin card with any theme to celebrate walk on stilts day.

I created a tall thin card that is a one layer card as well.....on its side.  I masked the edges of the card and then using a variety of stencils and distress inks to 'fill in' the main panel.  I then over sponged with another distress ink.  I then used my Misti to stamp the MFT silhouetted poppy images and the sentiment.

CCEEers Reach to the Moon, Stars, and Beyond

Maryann continues as our CCEE Stampers challenge this week.  Here is her challenge.....

Another day on the days of the year Calendar is Moon and Space Exploration day, use this theme to inspire your card.

I stayed a bit closer to Earth and went with the moon.  I did masking and sponging to create the sky using my cloud template.  I then stamped the Cornish Heritage Farms tree image and extending its base by sponging black ink.  I layered it, added piercing and a sentiment.

Be sure to go to the CCEE Blog to see the other wordly creations by the rest of the team....most of whom went deeper into space tha I did.

Getting Sketchie with the Crazies

The third challenge of the month is time for a Crazy4Challenges sketch.  Here is my card based on that sketch with a few tweaks.....

I first stamped the water elements (which I extended across the card instead of stopping part way).  I then masked the pink rectangle area and first sponged and then did some final touches with a Copic marker.  I stamped the duckie on a separate piece of cardstock and but it ou, popped it up and then 'floated' it in the water.  Using my Misit I stamped the sentiment several times to make it dark enough.

Now be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the fabulous and creative ways the DT used this same sketch to create so many wonderfully varied cards.

CCEEers Have 'Rocks' in Their Heads

Maryann continues as our hostess for July......here is her CCEE Stampers Challenge for this week.....

According to the days of the year Calendar, today is international Rock Day - use the colors of stone ( greys, browns, black, white etc..) for your card.

I used a variety of stamps from Stampscape and Stampenous to create the scene.  I also sponged the ocean and the clouds.  The sentiment is from ????. I then cut the panel in three parts and added some piercing on the top and bottom of the base level.

Be sure to check out the creations by the rest of this fabulous team by going to the CCEE Blog.

Hi Crazy fans,

Maryann is back with another fun challenge for us all.

Create a card to celebrate a popular travel destination. Any place, town or country.

I chose my favorite place to travel to......THE OCEAN.......I am not a sun bather anymore, but I just love to sit near the ocean and enjoy its beauty and sounds.

I colored an image by Stampendous with Copics, added some MS punched borders, and then stamped a Technique Junkies sentiment..

CCEEers Mask It Up

It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge.  Here is Maryann with the challenge......

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to another month of  challenges. It's Maryann here and I am your hostess for the month.
Hope you have fun with my challenges.

Create a card using a mask, whether it is using a masking technique of a stamped image of a mask.

I created a one-layer card......always a challenge for me, but something I do like to do.  I masked my rectangular 'panle', sponging on Cool Caribbean ink....I then used Memory Box stencil to add the dots to the background with Bermuda Bay ink.  I then removed the mask and, using my Misti, stamped the Technique Junkies image over and over again to get a truly black image.  I then paper pieced aroung the edges of the card.

Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the fab masked creations by the rest of this talented and wonderful DT.

The Crazies Visit the Park

Maryann Einem is our July hostess for the Crazy4Challenges DT.  Here is this week's challenge.....

According to the Days of the year Calendar today is Hop a Park Day - using stamps, dies or both create a scene or something you may see in a park.

Around here, many of our parks are forests withh lots of rocks left by the glaciers.  In the lakes, ponds, and riverways, many people boat, kayak, and swim.

I used image stamps from Stampscape and a sentiment stamp from WOW.

Be sure too visit the Crazies Blog to see the fab park creations by the rest of the DT.
