Crazy for Cake

It iis time for the Crazies last challenge of February....and here it is.....

Karen Aicken here as hostess for February and here is my challenge for the week:  "This is my Birthday Month and I like cake! For your project this week, add a cake, cupcake or other yummy. It doesn’t have to be a birthday card - just show us something delicious."

I'd like to thank our Guest Designer Kristine Reynolds for her great creations this month.

My cake image is from Art Impressions.  The sentiment is by ????  (forgot).  I used a Spellbinder die for the main image panel and then added some piercing to the edges.

Be sure to stop in at the Crazies Blog....should be a very sweet gallery.

CCEE Visits the Arctic

The CCEEers are ready for a new challenge.....and here it is.....

Hello friends!
Kelly here from the DT with my last challenge
~ February has been great fun!

Tuesday (2/27) is Polar Bear Day.
Create a card with a polar bear(s), snow,
or use white as your card’s focal color.

I used a die from Memory Box for the main 'image'.  I then cut one polar bear from a die cut border by Penny Black to add to the scene.  I then used a die to cut out the sentiment.  Easy Peasie you would think.....but I made many wrong choices along the way so this simple card took me forever.....loL!!!

Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the array of polar bear cards.

CCEEers Play Tic-Tac-Toe

It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge from our hostess, Kelly.....and here it is.......

Hi friends, Kelly here again this week with a new challenge -
a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

The Tic Tac Toe challenge is based on this fun photo I made:

I chose to use a sentiment, lace, and a criter, the top line of the tic-tac-toe.  My get well card used a lacy background die from Lil Inker, a frame die and banner die from MFT, and a fussy cut image from Penny Black.  The sentiment is from Words to the Rescue.

Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the variety of creations from this very talented, creative, and friendly DT.

The Loves ofo the CCEE Team

It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge.  Here is this week's challenge from Kelly, our hostess for February.

Hello friends!
Kelly here again with a new challenge.
It's almost Valentine's Day, so this week, instead of making
 a traditional Valentine's Day card,
we're making cards showing something we love ♥

Well....of course I had to do something having to do with the ocean.  The arrival of this new Memory Box die made the final decision for me.  This card is a 4.5 square card.  It is purely CAS with just the addition of a sentiment.

Be sure to check out the loves of the other DT members at the CCEE Blog.  We are an interesting and varied group, so you never know what they will pick as their loves.

Crazy for Hearts

A new month....a new Crazy4Challenges hostess.....and a new weekly challenge.....here is this week's challenge......

Karen Aicken here as hostess for February. I'd also like to thank Kristine Reynolds for being our Guest Designer this month!! Here is my first challenge of the month:  Add a heart to your project this week. You can make a Valentine, put a little heart on a critter, make a heart shaped card - just show us a heart!

I decided to go the CAS route this week......and I also decided to make it an all occasion card rather than a Valentine.  This card could be used as a thank you, a sympathy, or a hello card......I heat embossed the PB image in forest green on a celery base.  I added a border of piercing.

Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the various creations made using hearts.

CCEEers Honor Their Elders

It is time for another weekly CCEE Stampers challenge.  Kelly is our hostess for February.  Here is her challenge for the week.....

Hi ~ Kelly here bringing a new set of challenges
 through-out the month of February.

Today is National Spunky Old Broads Day!
So, we're making a card using any spunky old gal(s),
and I'm sure it will make you smile to see this card line up!

I used this older stamp from Inky Antics along with a sentiment from Words to the Rescue.  The plaid paper is from a pad by Joanna Sheen.  I added some paper piecing and some thin black mats and that was that.

Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the fab old ladies on the teams' cards.....I'm sure they will bring a smile.
