CCEEers Honor Their Elders

It is time for another weekly CCEE Stampers challenge.  Kelly is our hostess for February.  Here is her challenge for the week.....

Hi ~ Kelly here bringing a new set of challenges
 through-out the month of February.

Today is National Spunky Old Broads Day!
So, we're making a card using any spunky old gal(s),
and I'm sure it will make you smile to see this card line up!

I used this older stamp from Inky Antics along with a sentiment from Words to the Rescue.  The plaid paper is from a pad by Joanna Sheen.  I added some paper piecing and some thin black mats and that was that.

Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the fab old ladies on the teams' cards.....I'm sure they will bring a smile.

  1. OH gosh, yes! I remember Inky Antics! Great job with the challenge - your card is fun and FUNNY! Love the paper choice, too!

  2. What a fun sassy lady! Awesome card

  3. I love this sassy gal and her fun attitude, Joanne! Your card would be perfect for every one of my friends!!

Now that I have lost my dancing partner, I have taken up clogging where I don't need one! It is pretty rough on these old bones! I hope I survive!

  4. We should all take that sentiment to heart! Love your old broad!

  5. FUn gal! Love the colors and the paper you used for this terrific card, mf!

  6. She's definitely got a point! What a great layout, ol' broad and card, Joanne! Love it!

  7. She only needs to kick off those heels, put on her flip flops and she is ready for the beach!! Love your pretty color combo.
