Hi everyone,
Raquel with you again this week with another challenge.
Raquel with you again this week with another challenge.
September is my son's birthday month, so I challenged the Crazy 4 Challenges team to make a birthday card and put numbers on it. Let's see what the design team came up with
I used a bold sentiment from MFT on a panel cut with a Cottage Cutz die. I used assorted designer papers aloong with some skeleton leaves dies. I added a few brads, and.....voila.....a masculine card was born.
Be sure to to visit the Crazies Blog to see how the rest of the DT used numbers on their creations.

Babies 'R Us by the CCEEers
It is a dreary day and my pic is muddy....sorry about that.
It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge and here is our hostess with this week's challenge.....
Welcome friends, it is Maryann here with another challenge.
Create
a card using baby as your inspiration, example: new baby, baby shower,
grand baby, baby animals or even just a baby sized card.
I used a stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps along withh a die from Cottage Cutz. I added some gingham designer paper. I could not find my 'Welcome Little One' stamp so I will be addiing the sentiment when I find it.
Be sure to stop by the CCEE Blog to see the baby inspired cards by the rest of this fabulous team.

Crazy for Techniques
IIt is time for another month of challenges for the Crazy4Challenges DT.. Here iis this week's challenge from Raquel........
Hello my crazies, it's Raquel Mason here for the month of September. I would like to introduce the very talented Fran Sabad as guest designer.
For today's challenge, we're making cards using any technique! The technique can be something you've never tried before, something you've tried many times, or even a technique that you're inspired to try.
I went with some simple techniques that I use often. I used masking, stenciling, sponging, and paper piercing.....all to creat a true one layer card The flower is a stamp by Penny Black. The sentiment is from either MFT or Sweet 'n Sassy.
Be sure to check out the Crazies Blog to see the techniques used by the DT.

Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Frances here once again to bring you the last challenge for August.
In my part of the world (Australia), Saturday is the first day of Spring .... Flowers are beautiful at any time of the year so for our challenge this week we are to add some flowers to our card.
Unfortunately we have had the need for sympathy cards so my stash is nonexistent at the moment, so this CAS one will be the beginning of a new stash of sympathy cards. I used a background stamp by Penny Black and a sentiment stamp from MFT.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the gardens of flowersof all colors and types used by the DT on their fabulous cards.

CCEEers Ride the Wind
Frances is the hostess of the CCEE Stampers Challenge for August. She has a great challenge this week, and here it is.....
It's Frances here again with another fun challenge for you all.
Today (23rd August) is Ride the Wind Day, this day was created to celebrate the anniversary of the first man powered flight. There are so many things that rely on wind for them to work, so let's include something that needs wind on our cards today. Some examples include kite flying, windsurfing, Hang Gliding; Sailing Boats, Birds Flying, Hot Air Balloons, Balloons, Paper Planes etc.
I did not have much stamping time, so I didn't do any....lol.....instead I made a CAS card using a die from Tutti Designs. Not much else to say......
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the more detailed work by the best DT in my book.

CCEEers Visit the Jungle
Frances continues as the CCEE Challenge hostess this week.....here is her challenge for this week.....
Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Frances here with this week's challenge.
Apparently Tomorrow is World Lion Day .... Lions are also
often referred to as the "King of the Jungle" so lets see some jungle
animals appearing on our cards this week … bonus points if you include a
lion.
I used an unmounted stamp for this card. I apologize that I did not write the company name on the back so I could share the maker of the stamp. If someone knows, share that info with me please. I sponged the background, used my Misti to stamp the image in deep black, then added a thin frame of black cardstock. I then covered the front of the base card with black and white dp for a tropical look.
Be sure to visit the CCEE blog to see the various jungle creatures the team used in their designs.

Crazy for the Mountains
Well.....it is time for another Crazy4Challenges challenge. Anja is our hostess for the month and here is her challenge for this week.....
Welcome all to a new month of challenges here at the CRAZIES! It is my turn to be your hostess and I hope you will like what I came up with! A special welcome to my very talented and fun friend, Connie VanLoosen, Connie has no blog but let me tell you she is the Queen of stamping.
Apparently August 1st is National Mountain Climbing Day.....I don't climb real mountains, but do think that they are beautiful and I love looking at them. So for this first challenge of the month, I am asking you to put some mountains on your card/project.
Happy Crafting!
Well, I discovered I have a 'hole' in my collection......no mountains. So....most of this card is just sponged. I did use a cloud template and a Stampscapes single tree stamp.
This is not exactly a favorite creation, but at least I did participate...lol
Be sure to stop in at the Crazies Blog to see some fabulous mountain creations.

CCEEers Color Their World
Frances is our hostess for the month of August for the CCEE Stampers Challenges....here is her challenge for this week.....
Hi Crafty Friends,
It's Frances Byrne here and I am your challenge hostess for the month of August.
Apparently today (2nd August) is Coloring Book Day. Coloring books are popular for both young and old. For our challenge today use an image on your card that needs to be colored ... bonus points for those who have coloring books and uses an image from one of those for your card today.
I kept mine pretty simple. I used a stamp set by Stampendous along with the matching dies. I colored with Copics and added some rhinestones to the 'centers' of the blossoms. I added paper piercing around the edges of the base and rounded the corners. The sentiment is from Words to the Rescue.
Be sure to stop at the CCEE Blog to see (and admire) the colored creations by this fabulous DT.

Crazies Extend Sumpathy/Support
Here is the challenge for the Crazy4Challenges DT this week.....
Make
a Sympathy or Support/hope card. By support/hope card I
mean for someone with a very serious illness or who isn’t likely
going to survive their illness. Or for the family of that person.
These are sad, serious cards to have to make but they are good
to have in your stash. It’s unfortunate but you never know when
you might need it.
I kept my card simple. I used a Spellbinders frame die. I then added a branch image from Sweet n' Sassy Stamps. The sentiment is from MFT.
Be sure to stop by the Crazies blog to see the sympathy, support cards created by the rest of the team.

CCEEers Are Cool
Here is the CCEE Weekly Stampers Challenge from our hostess, Lynn....
Here it is the last Thursday of July, and the calendar says it is National Refreshment Day!
One way to beat the heat of summer is with a cold refreshment. Do you cool down with a glass of lemonade, a rainbow snowcone, an ice cream cone, a cold bottle of beer, or something else? Whatever it may be, share with the CCEE Stampers your favorite cool-down treat in your design this week.
I intended to do a popsicle ir uce cream card, but a multitude of phone calls interupted my time in the stamp cave so I had to go more simply.......so......I used this old set of watermelons from Flourishes. /the sentiment is also from the same set. I embossed the vertical panel with a swirl embossing folder, added paper piercing around the edge of the base, and used a Cottage Cutz die to cut my image panel.
Be sure to stop in at the CCEE Blog to see the cool refreshments portrayed by the rest of the team. Here in CT we need some cooling refreshments....the humidity is so thick that you have to make a tunnel through it as you go outside.....(not really, but it feels that way....lol)

Sketch Week with the Crazies
It is the third week of the month,, so the Crazy4Challenges DT has a sketch to play with this week.
I kep it pretty simple. I stamped the branches from Altenew in two different green of the main panel and then added a sentiment from MFT. I used a Spellbinder set to diei cut my layers. I added dry embossong to the base card to give some texture to the design.
Be sure to stop in at the Crazies Blog to see the varied and creative ways the DT members used this singular sketch.

CCEEers Go to the Zoo
It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge. Lynn, our hostess, has a great challenge for us. Here it is.....
Hello to all our CCEE followers! Lynn here to share with you this week's challenge.
Back in the day when I was a young mother, one of the first trips I planned during the summer break from school was a day at the zoo for my son and his cousins. We all loved watching the crazy antics of the animals. This week in honor of zookeepers' week, I am challenging you all to include at least one (more if you want) zoo animal on your card.
I used a curcus set from MFT for my animals and a sentiment also from another MFT set.
I had originally intended this to be a one layer card so I masked and created the horizontal layer with sponging, but then I 'dirtied' the cardstock and had to forget the truly CAS version. Oh well....that is all a part of the creative process.
Be sure to visit the ZOO at the CCEE Blog.

Crazies Get in Shape
It is time for another Crazy4Challenges challenge.....here is Rebecca, our hostess, with her challenge....
Welcome
back to the Crazy 4 Challenge blog! Rebecca Ednie here again and I'd
like to say 'Thanks!' to everyone who played along last week! So many
great takes on 'windows'.
This week, the team and I are making SHAPED CARDS.
Any shape other than a plain circle, rectangle or square. So many fun
options! Really any shape can become a card. Just cut the shape and add a
rectangle or circle (or whatever) shaped card base behind it! If it
doesn't fit perfectly, just trim the card base to match!
Don't forget about my giveaway for anyone participating this month! Read more about it HERE.
Mine is a simple design with the emphasis on the shape. Did lots of die cutting, but very little stamping.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blgo to see the shapely creations by this fabulous DT.

CCEEers Keep It Simple
It is Thursday and the day for a new CCEE Stampers Challenge from our hostess, Lynn.....and here it is......
It's Lynn back again to share with you the second July challenge.
July 12 has been declared National Simplicity Day in honor of Henry David Thoreau who was a devoted advocate of living a life of simplicity. So on this lazy day of summer it's time to simplify. My challenge to you is to create a clean and simple one layer card!
This is truly a clean and simple card.....the kind of card that used to frustrate me, but now makes me smile.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the simple creations by this wonderful team of stampers and friends.

CCEEers Conquer The Impossible Card
Lynn is our hostess for the CCEE Stampers Chalenges for the month of July....here is her challenge for this week.....
Hi, friends. Lynn McAuley here! I will be hosting the CCEE Challenges for the month of July and hope that you will want to join in on the fun.
Suddenly I am seeing the Impossible Card popping up everywhere I turn. This new fun fold is based on a famous card trick so it isn't really all that new! I thought it would be great if the CCEE Stampers put their own "twist" on this design with their creations this week.
Here is a link to a tutorial by Maymay Made It Crafts that will show you what it is all about! It demonstrates the
Impossible Card in several varied sizes.
First thng I must do is to apologize for my lousy photo.....I had a very hard time getting a pic of this card. I finally had to lighten it, takiing away the richness of the actual colors....OH WELL....
I actually found this style of 'fancy fold' very easy and loved adding the rounded corners. I used an Altenw set for the rose and a die for the skeleton leaves. The sentiment is from an MFT set. I added a touch of paper piercing on the sentiment panel.
Be sure to sstop at the CCEE Blog to see the fab cards created with the impossible card technique.

CCEEers Relax a Bit
Joanne here with this week's CCEE Stamper's Challenge......
Well, this is my last challenge as June hostess of the CCEE Stampers Challenge. That month sure did fly by.
This week’s ‘theme’ is RELAXATION.
Create a card that depicts RELAXATION to you. Can be a place where you are relaxed or what
you do to relax.
Can't wait to 'see' where or how you relax.
As most people know, the ocean (or other body of water( is where I relax. I will be retirning from my annual trip to the Maine coast later today.....and I am sure I will have done lots of ocean gazing.
I used a new virgin stamp from ODBD and a sentiment by Impression Obsession (I think)/ I also added some texture with a bkgd die from Lil' Inker. I used an MFT template to create my clouds.
Can't wait to see how you all relax. Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to check things out......

This "ombre"Is Late to the Crazies Party
I am very late in posting this.....sorry about that......Frances is our Crazy4Challenges hostess this week....and here is her challenge....
Hi Crazy Fans!
Welcome to another challenge here on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.
Our challenge this week is .....
Ombre
Definition
- a french word meaning "shaded". Ombre is the gradual blending of one
color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to
dark.
The
ombre technique has become very popular in stamping over the past few
years. Use this technique in some way when creating your card this week.
Here are a few links to YouTube videos for inspiration:
Ombre Stamping- Jennifer McGuire
Easy Ombre Backgrounds– Jennifer McGuire
Ombre Background Stamping– Yana Smakula
Misti 101: Ombré Stamping– Justine Hovey
I went with a range of blues, but my lighter ones were mostly covered by the image.
Be sure to check out the Crazies Blog to see the variety of ombre creations found yhere.

The CCEEers Create a Garden of Loveliness
Joanne here with your CCEE Stampers Challenge for this week.....
Around here spring came late, so we are still enjoying the blooming of
flowers. Please create a card with
multiple flowers.
I used a tulip stamp by Stampendous. I love a bouquet of multicolore tulips so that is what I went with. I added paper piercing around the edges of the main panel and a get well sentiment.

Crazies Go Masculine
Frances contiinues as our June hostess of the Crazy4Challenges DT. Here is this week's challenge....
Welcome to another Crazy 4 Challenge challenge.
This
week our challenge is ..... Masculine Cards – Father’s Day is coming up
in the Northern Hemisphere, so this week let’s make male cards. It does
not have to be a Father’s Day card.
I used my last masculine sympathy card recently so I thought I would use this challenge to rstart replenishing my stash. I used a stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps along with a sentiment from, I think, MFT. I added some paper piercing and fabulous plaid dp.
Be sure to stop in at the Crazies Blog to see some fine examples of masculine cards.

CCEEers Use Virgin Stamps
Well.....here I am with the first June Challenge for the CCEE Stampers Challenge....and here it is....
I don’t think I am the only one with unused (or ‘virgin’) stamps. This week I want you to go through your stash and ink those virgins to create this week’s card.
My unused stamp is accompanied by an unused die as well. The set is by Spellbinders, and I have had it for at least a year. I used a Lil Inker background die for my base lever and a ODBD die for the sentiment panel. I added some tiny star rhinestones to the upper corner of the sentiment panel to balance the design in my mind.
We really should have this challenge on a regular basis so I can untilize some the virgin stamps I just jad to have but have never used.
Be sure to go to the CCEE Blog to be inspired to use your virgin stamps.

Crazies Go Barefoot
Frances is our June hostess for the Crazy4Challenges DT challenges. here is her weekly challenge....
Apparently yesterday was "Go Barefoot Day" include something on your card that is barefoot.
I could not find the stamp I planned to use which would have been so perfect for this challenge. Apparently I filed it in the wrong place. So then Ii had to search for a barefoot image. Well.....that was not so easy, but finally I found this unmounted stamp. The sentiment I used is from MFT.
Sorry too for the muddy picture....having some photography issues lately.
Be sure to stop in at the Crazies Blog to see the other barefooted creations.

For my last challenge of the month, use your embossing folder/s on your card today.

Here are my 'letters' for the challenge....
N- New die E- 'ENJOY' W- White S- Stencil and Sponging

The Crazies 'On Thin Ice'
Time for another Crazy4Challenges challenge.....and here it is.....
Hi Everyone,
It is Maryann here with this month's last challenge. Firstly I would like to thank Kelly Santi for joining as guest designer. I hope you have been having fun with our challenges.
This week my challenge is a play on words - Create a card using these words for inspiration "Skating on thin ice"
I went with a pretty literal used of the phrase with my penguins on think ice. Now I have another card for the holiday stash. This set is by Mama Elephant. I used a frame die from MFT and a snowflake embossing folder.
Sorry about the muddy picture....it is crisp and white in real life.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the other interpretations of 'skating on thin ice'.

CCEEers Inspired by Poetry
Lois has an inspiration challenge for the CCEEers this week.....and here it is.....
Lois here with my final challenge of the month. April is National Poetry Month, and today is Poem in Your Pocket Day. I'm asking that you create a card using a poem as your inspiration.
I used Joyce Kilner's poem, Trees' as my inspiration. In grammar school we had to memorize poems and this was one of the poems we learned. Unfortunately I only remember the first few lines now. My second choice would have been e.e. cummings 'in Just spring', another favorite poem.
I used this tree stamp ( I think it is by Penny Black) along with the sentiment from MFT. I also used an oval die from Cottage Cutz.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the inspired creations by the rest of this talented team.

The CCEEers Take a Ride on a Bike
It is time for the Third challenge of April for the CCEE Stampers Challenge DT. Here is Lois, our hostess, with her weekly challenge.
Lois here . . . continuing as hostess for the CCEE Stampers. Today is Bicycle Day, so I'm asking you to put a bicycle on your card. If you don't have a bicycle, use anything with wheels. I have a confession to make: I didn't learn how to ride a bicycle until I was an adult. My husband taught me!
I used a die from Joanna Sheen for my bicycle/tricycle (only two wheels are showing...lol)!!! What you probably can't see is that I used a birthday sentiment stamp from MFT with versamark in the background of the main panel. It might be my weak eyes, but I don't really see it in the picture.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the wheeled creations by the rest of this fabulous DT.

CCEEers Create with Critters
It iis time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge. Lois is our hostess for March, and here is her challenge for this week.
Lois here, continuing as hostess for the CCEE Stampers this month.
There are many lists of "holidays" on the internet. One of them listed
yesterday (April 11th) as National Pet Day. I asked the team to use a
pet (dog, cat, bird, whatever) on their cards.
I have once again been trying to use 'virgin' stamps. So many toys and so little time. The iages come from a Stampendous set by Laurel Burch. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I used a cloud template from MFT as well as dies that match the images.
Be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the fab creations by the rest of this fabulouly talented and FUN DT.

Crazy for Dies as Stencils
Time for another challenge from the Crazy4Challenges DT and here it is, from our April hostess, Maryann.....
For my challenge I am asking that you get more out of your dies creating a stencil for your card instead of using it as a die.
I used MFT's horizontal snowdrifts die to create my sky, sponging 3 different blue inks on the base. I then used stamps from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the images along with a Hero Arts sentiment.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the creative uses of dies as stencils.

CCEEers Celebrate National Tartan Day
It is a new month so therefore the CCEE Stampers have a new hostess. Lois is in charge of the challenges for March. Here is her first challenge for us......
Hi, Lois here starting my month as hostess for the CCEE Stamper challenges. Tomorrow is National Tartan Day. I asked the team members to create a card using plaid.
I, like Lois, LOVE plaids. When I find a paper pack with plaid papers I biy lots....hahaha.....so this challenge was an easy one for me. Unfortunately, my sister and I have both had need of too many sympathy cards recently, so I am uusing this challenge to replenish my stash of sympathy cards.
I used an image from Cornish Heritage Farms and cut that image panel with a Cottage Cutz die. I did not write down what set/company the sentiment came from.
Be sure to stop in to see the wonderful plaids the DT used to create their cards/projects. Visit the CCEE Blog to view them.

Crazies Give Thanks
It is time for another Crazy4Challenges chalenge.....and here it is.......
It is National Doctor’s Day - and Bonnie says she has a lot to be thankful for when it comes to Doctors and Nurses.
For our challenge this week you have two options ....
Either
create a "Thank You" card of some type, it could be for a Doctor, Nurse, some other person in the medical profession or any one you like
OR
create a "Get Well Card" that features a doctor, nurse or any medical theme.
I used a die from Simon Says Stamp and a word die, to create this fairly simple card.
Be sure to visit the Crazies Blog to see the various thank you cards created by the DT.

The CCEE DT Gets 'Fancy'
It is time for another challenge from the CCEE Stampers challenge. Here is our hostess, Vicky, with this week's challenge......
I
can't believe my month of challenges has gone by so quickly, but here
it is....my last challenge for this month. I had a lot of fun coming up
with and making my cards and hope you did too!
For
my last challenge, please use a fun fold of your choice....one may be
your "go to" fold, or you may want to try something new. That's what I
decided to do. I love easel cards and found a tutorial on You Tube to
make a "Double Twisted Easel" card. Pretty easy and unique.
Well.....fancy folds are NOT my comfort zone. It really isn't the fold that challenges me. It is the designing of the card that stymies me. This was a fold I say andd thought I could manage. I guess the good sign is that it did not end up in the 'circular' file (garbage can, that is....lol). All floral images and the outer sentiment are from Altenew. The inner sentiment is from Cat's Meow.
Now be sure to viist the CCEE Blog to see the fabulous fancy fold creations by the rest of the team. They are much more adventurous with fancy folds than I am so I am sure you will be dazzled by their results.

The CCEE Stampers are usin' the Green
It is time for another CCEE Stampers Challenge from Vicky, our March hostess with the mostest......and......here it is.....
Wow, we're three weeks into March already.....and St. Patrick's Day is on the horizon. This week, let's make a St. Patrick's Day card.....or.....use the color green on your card! Not all of us can use a St. Patrick's Day card, but green is a wonderful color with endless possibilities!
I used a very old set of shamrocks/clover from my early days of stamping. I believe it was made by Hero Arts. It was a set that came with 4 stamps in the set. I added my only St. Pat's Day sentiment and a borderr of paper piercing. I also used an old SU set to 'dot' the background of my main panel/image and then sponged the edges of it.
Can't wait to see the 'green' gallery of art at the CCEE Blog created by the rest of this fabulous DT.

CCEEers Go 3-D
Vicky is our hostess for the March CCEE Stampers Challenges. Here iis her challenge for the week.....
Hi,
and welcome to the second challenge for March. Vicky here and this
week for our challenge we are playing around with techniques using Die
Cut Words.
Here are a few we found online which you could use:
3D Word Dies
I had some problems with this card. Every word die I went to use had those 'empty spaces' in the midst of the letters and with my eyes I kept losing the small pieces. I fiinally threw up my hands in defeat......however, I did like the technique itself, so I wen and decided to use a heart to signify that I LOVE the ocean. I know that this group can be very forgiving and flexible, so I am hoping it was alreight. I created the sky with a cloud template from MFT, I created the ocean by masking and sponging. The ocean 'waves' were stamped with a Stampscape stamp while the weeds was a Sweet 'n Sassy stamp. I added piercing around the border and used a Stampin' Up heart die.
Thanks for stopping by and be sure to visit the CCEE Blog to see the fab creations by the rest of this team using this technique.
